It seems that a war is about to break out between the current Manchester United coach, Erik ten Hag, and Jose Mourinho, who coached the Red Devils from 2016 to 2018.
In statements last week, Mourinho said about Ten Hag and his career at United that he enjoyed support and trust that he had never received during his career at Old Trafford.
Special One added in his speech, “I did not have what Ten Hag has at the moment, and I did not find this level of support or trust, so I left sad.”
There was soon a fiery response from Ten Hag, who said: “With the exception of Mourinho, all the United managers did not get the players they wanted.”
He continued, “I am confident that we will achieve our goals, but we are in a very difficult competition.”
So far, Ten Hag has only succeeded in winning the Carabao Cup last season, but this season they face the possibility of ending the season in the worst position in United’s history in the Premier League era.
It is assumed that the Dutch coach’s statements may lead to a new strong response from Mourinho, who is determined that he did not fail at United and achieved a great achievement by occupying second place in the Premier League.
