The English Football Association announced the date of the Manchester City and Manchester United match for the FA Cup final.
City is the defending champion and qualified for the final after beating Chelsea 1-0, while United needed penalties to pass Coventry City after a 3-3 draw in regular and extra time.
According to the announcement, as usual, Wembley Stadium will host the FA Cup final, which will be held there on Saturday, May 25.
The match is scheduled to start at exactly two in the afternoon, England time, that is, at five in the evening, Mecca and Cairo time.
The match was scheduled to be held early in the afternoon because the English police believed that this was better from a security standpoint, just as was the case in the finals of recent years.
It is noteworthy that the final of the last edition also brought together City and United, and ended with a 2-1 victory for Pep Guardiola’s squad.
