The first surprise of the round of 16 play-offs.. Milan bids farewell to Feyenoord (Video)

Milan bid farewell to the 2025 Champions League early after a 1-1 draw with Feyenoord in the second leg of the round of 16 play-offs.

The Dutch club had won the first leg 1-0, and everyone expected that the Rossoneri’s mission would be easy in the second leg with the expected crowd support at San Siro.

Indeed, Milan quickly took the lead in their historic stronghold with a goal by Raul Jimenez in the first minute, before the match turned completely in the 51st minute.

Theo Hernandez received a second yellow card and was sent off, and coach Sergio Conceicao’s squad completed the match with ten players.

In the 73rd minute, after great Dutch pressure, Julian Carranza scored the equalizer for Feyenoord, and with it the superiority in the two matches 2-1.

Thus, Feyenoord will meet Inter or Arsenal in the round of 16, which is the same chance as the winner of the match between Eindhoven and Juventus.

Milan’s very poor season continues, after the Rossoneri lost any chance to compete for the Italian League title, and the only point remains achieving the Super Cup title at the expense of Inter in Saudi Arabia.
