The German “Sports 1” network reported that the transfer of Manchester United star Casemiro to the Saudi club Al-Nassr has collapsed in the past few hours.
For months, the Saudi media has confirmed that the Al-Nassr administration is seeking to bring Casemiro to the Saudi League, and it was even said that Cristiano Ronaldo himself intervened in the negotiations.
Despite what was reported that an agreement was imminent between Casemiro and Al-Nassr, according to the latest information, negotiations between the two parties collapsed and it became certain that the former Real Madrid star would not join coach Luis Castro’s squad.
The reason for the faltering negotiations remains ambiguous, given the fact that Al-Nassr was willing to offer Casemiro a fantastic salary, as well as a player who would welcome the exit and experience a new experience outside Old Trafford.
It is noteworthy that Manchester United does not mind selling the 31-year-old after his performance declined significantly last season, provided that there is a suitable financial offer.
Casemiro joined Manchester United in the summer of 2022 after a legendary trip with Real Madrid for 70 million euros, and he won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup with the Red Devils.
