The Manchester City star’s transfer to the Saudi League failed

Transfer market specialist Rudy Galetti has confirmed that Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson Moraes’ move to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr has collapsed during the current summer transfer window.

Al Nassr had submitted an official offer of €30 million to Manchester City for the Brazilian goalkeeper, who had expressed his desire to join the team and play alongside Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, according to Galetti, Manchester City’s management rejected Al Nassr’s offer and demanded at least €50 million for the release of their goalkeeper.

Galetti also confirmed that Al Nassr will not increase their offer beyond €30 million and have therefore officially withdrawn from the deal.

Despite this, Al Nassr are still looking to strengthen their goalkeeping position, with the signing of a new goalkeeper remaining a top priority for the Yellow management in the current summer transfer window.

Al Nassr have been linked with other big names for goalkeeping, such as Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker and Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, to replace the departed Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina.
