The President announces: Will Mane move to Al-Ittihad?

Al-Ittihad President, Louay Shuaibi, announced that Sadio Mane will not join his club in the last moments of the current summer Mercato.

Saudi media had indicated that there were negotiations between Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr to loan Mane to Al-Ameed with the Jeddah club bearing his salary.

Earlier, reports indicated that Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad had already reached an agreement on the deal.

Shuaibi revealed the truth of these reports, and despite that, Mane will not join Al-Ittihad this summer.

The president said, “We agreed with Al-Nassr on the Mane deal, but the player refused to move to us.”

Thus, it was confirmed that Mane will continue with Al-Nasr at least until January, unless there are last-minute surprises or a Turkish club moves to include him, given that the Mercato there still extends until mid-September.
