The reason behind the Carvajal and Saka fight has been revealed

Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal was seen arguing with Bukayo Saka at halftime of the match between Real Madrid and Arsenal in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

The scene was strange, given that Carvajal was out of the match due to injury. However, he entered the pitch and argued with Saka.

According to the newspaper “AS,” the reason for the altercation between the players was that Carvajal reprimanded Saka for taking a penalty kick using the “Panenka” method, which he considered a lack of respect for Real Madrid.

The Spanish star believes that taking such a shot at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is a mockery unbecoming of Real Madrid, so he provoked the dispute with Saka and the fight broke out.

The Spanish newspaper reported that Carvajal will face a one-match suspension for failing to adhere to the principles of ethical conduct, sportsmanship, and integrity.

The final decision will depend on the referee’s report and his conclusions about the incident. If the referee detects the incident and deems the Real Madrid star to have committed an unethical act, a penalty will be imposed immediately.

It’s worth noting that Carvajal has been out since last October due to a torn cruciate ligament and is trying to return before the 2025 Club World Cup next June.
