Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel is betting that Serge Gnabry will score a goal against Real Madrid in Tuesday’s Champions League match.
Gnabry has been absent since his injury against Arsenal in the first leg of the quarter-finals, but the German has recovered and will be able to participate against Real Madrid in the Allianz Arena match.
At the match’s press conference, Tuchel said when asked about Gnabry, “I am confident that Serge Gnabry will score a goal in tomorrow’s match.”
He also added, “This will happen. I do not know from whom I have this information, but I confirm once again that Gnabry will score tomorrow.”
When asked about the match itself, he replied, “The semi-final looks a bit like the final. My method is to treat the match as a final match.”
He concluded, “We need a special atmosphere in the stadium, as was the case against Arsenal, but we want it to be better and better. We want the fans to support us and give us the advantage in this difficult match.”
