Mohamed Salah is living perhaps the best season of his entire career, and he proves that once again with a remarkable brilliance in the match between Liverpool and Tottenham on Sunday.
The Egyptian international managed to score two goals, and also made two others, during Arne Slot’s team’s 6-3 victory at Tottenham’s stadium.
Initially, Salah topped the Premier League scorers’ list with 15 goals, compared to only 13 goals for Erling Haaland, the top scorer in the last two editions and the current runner-up.
The “Egyptian King” did not stop there, but he became the player with the most assists in the Premier League this season, with 11 assists, surpassing Arsenal star Bukayo Saka, who has 10 assists.
Salah surpassed Premier League and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry to become the fourth player to have contributed to the most Premier League goals for a single club, with 250 goals, compared to 249 goals for the French star.
Salah rose to seventh place in the list of all-time Premier League scorers with 172 goals, and became the fourth all-time Reds scorer in the competition, ahead of Billy Liddell.
Tottenham joined the list of Salah’s favorite victims in England, as his two goals brought his total against Spurs to 10 goals, the same as he scored against West Ham, Brighton and Newcastle, and only Arsenal (11 goals) and Manchester United (12 goals) have scored more against them than the London club.
Salah also became the all-time top scorer in the history of Liverpool and Tottenham matches in the Premier League with 10 goals.
