The newspaper “AS” revealed two possible dates for the Barcelona-Osasuna match after it was postponed last Saturday due to force majeure.
The Spanish Federation, La Liga and Osasuna accepted Barcelona’s request to postpone the match following the death of the first team doctor, Carles Minaro Garcia.
According to the latest report, Osasuna’s management welcomed holding the match at any other time in appreciation of the force majeure that occurred hours before Saturday’s match.
In principle, the closest date for holding the match of the twenty-seventh round of La Liga is May 21.
Barcelona suffers from a very busy schedule due to its competition in the King’s Cup and the Champions League, and if it reaches the final in both competitions, May 21 will be the only date available for the Osasuna match.
However, if Barça bids farewell to one of the two competitions and has enough time, the Osasuna match is expected to be held on April 26.
It is noteworthy that La Liga gave Barcelona and Osasuna 5 days to agree on a new date for the match, and thus if Barcelona succeeds in crossing Benfica, May 21 will most likely be the desired day.
