Barcelona player on loan to Real Betis, Vitor Roque, revealed that he hasn’t known a smile for 7 months because of the Catalan club.
Roque joined Barcelona last January, but failed to secure a starting place with coach Xavi Hernandez and his successor Hansi Flick.
At the end of the summer Mercato, Roque went on loan to Real Betis, and now he is with the Brazilian U-20 team during the international break.
The Brazilian international said, commenting on the difficulty of what he went through, “It’s been 6 or 7 months since I tasted happiness.”
He also added, “I can’t hide my happiness now, I’m happy to score a goal with the Brazilian team (U-20).”
He concluded, “I joked with the players here and the technical staff and laughed more in a week than I did in the last 6 months.”
