Chelsea star, Reece James, has entered Barcelona’s list of options to sign him next winter or summer.
James has not participated with Chelsea in any match this season, and coach Enzo Maresca previously announced that he is completely out of his calculations.
Over the past years, the English international has suffered from numerous injuries, and now the Chelsea management welcomes his departure at any financial value.
According to English newspapers, doctors have advised James to move to a club in southern Europe in a country with warm weather in order to reduce the number of his injuries.
Barcelona appears as a possible option, given that the Catalan club is still looking for a permanent right-back after failing to sign Joao Cancelo last summer.
In addition to Barça, there is interest from Benfica to sign the 24-year-old.
It is worth noting that Barcelona will practically face difficulty in signing James next winter due to the Financial Fair Play rules that will hinder his registration unless another player in Hansi Flick’s squad leaves.
