Weakening the Bundesliga? Dortmund signs the two most important stars in Stuttgart!

It seems that the hypothesis that Bayern Munich is the one who weakens the German League by signing the teams’ stars has been refuted, and the secret is what Borussia Dortmund is doing specifically this summer.

Stuttgart was one of the knights of the Bundesliga last season, as the team ranked second behind Bayer Leverkusen with the highest number of points in the club’s history, including in the seasons in which it won the title.

Stuttgart beat Borussia Dortmund three times last season, twice in the Bundesliga and once in the round of 16 of the German Cup.

As a reaction from Dortmund, the “Yellow and Black” signed two players from Stuttgart during the current summer Mercato.

Dortmund officially announced the contract with Waldemar Anton, after paying the release clause in his contract, amounting to 22.5 million euros.

The second deal will be Stuttgart’s first star last season, Serhou Guirassy, who scored 28 goals in the Bundesliga last season.

Dortmund will pay only 18 million euros to sign the Guinean international, which is also the value of the release clause in his contract with the southern club.

Dortmund reportedly have interest in another third player from Stuttgart, Chris Fuhrich.
