The famous journalist Fabrizio Romano mentioned that there is one clause being negotiated between the Real Madrid administration and Kylian Mbappe at the present moment to complete the contract between the two parties.
According to Romano, the negotiations between Real Madrid and Mbappe’s representatives have reached very advanced stages, and there are only some small details that need to be clarified before the player signs the contracts.
In terms of salary, it was agreed between Mbappe and Real Madrid that he would receive a salary close to that of Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior, meaning more than 20 million euros annually.
As for the transfer bonus, it will exceed 100 million euros, to be distributed throughout the duration of the contract for 5 years.
The only item currently under discussion between the two parties is the value of the reward that Mbappe will receive if he succeeds in achieving the Ballon d’Or.
This matter is not supposed to represent a crisis between the two parties, as Real Madrid is one of the first clubs to come up with this idea to encourage its players to shine, and it believes in Mbappe’s right to make money if he reaches the Ballon d’Or.
Romano confirms that it is a matter of a few days and the agreement between the two parties will be closed successfully, but the official announcement of his joining will most likely not happen before the end of this season.
