The Defense Central network reported that a call took place between Erling Haaland’s agent, Rafaela Bimtna, and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, hours after the match between Manchester City and the Royal Club in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
The Norwegian international gave a very mediocre performance in the match that ended in a 3-3 draw, and failed for the third time in a row to score against Real Madrid.
According to the Spanish network, Haaland’s agent was present at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and followed the match, then called Perez to thank him for his warm reception.
Bimtna informed the Madrid president that Haaland was frustrated and completely dissatisfied with the performance he showed in the match and how the Merengue defenses succeeded in stopping his threat to a great extent.
Defense Central confirms that Haaland is now preparing with all his might to respond to criticism and “take revenge” on Real Madrid in the return match scheduled for Wednesday.
It is noteworthy that Haaland is an option on the Real Madrid management table, but in the summer of 2025, in light of what Perez dreams of bringing the 23-year-old and Kylian Mbappe together in one team.
