The famous English coach Sam Allardyce praised Omar Marmoush, and considered that what he did with Manchester City has never been done by any player in the Premier League.
Marmoush moved to City in the last winter Mercato for 75 million euros, and after 5 matches he made an immediate impact by scoring a hat-trick against Newcastle.
Allardyce commented on this by saying, “I don’t think I’ve seen someone come in the January transfer window and make such an impact in one match so early.”
He also added, “I’ve seen a lot of players who joined in the winter, they had a lot of difficulty adapting, fitness and the different requirements of the Premier League, and they needed until the next season to show their best.”
He concluded, “Success so quickly and showing what Marmoush has and not stopping running, are all great things. He even succeeded in communicating with Erling Haaland. What Marmoush did is unbelievable and rarely happens.”
Marmoush’s eyes are now on the Santiago Bernabeu, when he travels with City to face Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 play-off after losing the first leg 3-2 at Al-Ittihad.
