According to the newspaper “Mundo Deportivo,” Dani Olmo will play his first match in a Barcelona shirt very soon.
The Catalan club has finalized the signing of Olmo after reaching an agreement with Leipzig to buy the player for 55 million euros.
The Catalan newspaper confirms that it is only a matter of time before the deal is officially announced, and that Olmo’s feet have already set foot in the city of Barcelona in recent hours.
Based on this, it is expected that Olmo will participate for the first time with Barça next Monday against Monaco in the friendly Joan Gamper Cup.
The Spanish player will have his first training session with Barcelona on Saturday when Hansi Flick’s squad returns from their US tour.
It is also expected that the Blaugrana management will succeed in registering Olmo without any crises, and therefore he will participate against Valencia on August 17 in the league opener.
