The Premier League announced the identity of the best player in the competition so far, after a vote published on its official website.
The vote witnessed the presence of names such as Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, Manchester City star Erling Haaland, Chelsea star Cole Palmer, Nottingham Forest star Chris Wood and others.
According to the Premier League announcement on its official account on the X platform, the fans’ votes chose Salah as the best player in the competition so far and after 11 rounds of its launch.
The fans’ choice of Salah comes against the backdrop of the wonderful season he is presenting with the Reds after he made 14 goal contributions, more than any other player in the Premier League.
The Egyptian star scored 8 goals and made 6 others, and he is the second top scorer in the Premier League after Erling Haaland.
The 32-year-old’s impressive goalscoring contributions have been crucial to Liverpool’s move to the top of the Premier League table this season, five points clear of nearest challengers Manchester City.
Salah is set to continue his fine form for the Reds after being given a two-week break and not playing for Egypt during the international break, starting with Sunday’s game against Southampton.
