Why Did Dybala Reject a Move to the Saudi League?

Paulo Dybala announced via his Instagram account that he will be staying with Roma next season and will not be moving to the Saudi Pro League.

The Argentine international received an offer a month ago from Al-Qadsiah that would have guaranteed him earning €75 million over four years in the Saudi Pro League.

Al-Qadsiah was ready to activate the €12 million release clause in Dybala’s contract, especially since a preliminary agreement had already been reached between the player and the Saudi club.

But the surprise came on Thursday when Dybala posted a video of his best moments with Roma, and everyone thought it was an introduction to a farewell to the fans, but in the end, he said “See you on Sunday.”

According to Italian media, the decision to stay with Roma is due to his wife, who insisted on staying in Italy and not leaving, regardless of the offers.

As a result, the 30-year-old will remain with Roma for another year, and the club’s fans gathered outside his house on Friday morning to express their love and respect for his decision to stay at the Olimpico.
