The head of the Egyptian Football Association’s Competitions Committee, Amer Hussein, announced the matches of the Egyptian Super Cup in its second edition in its new form, which is scheduled to be held in the Emirates.
The Egyptian Super Cup was held last season with the participation of 4 clubs in the Spanish style for the first time in history, and Al-Ahly succeeded in winning the title after defeating Modern Sport in the final.
The 2024 edition will be held with the participation of the Egyptian League champion Al-Ahly, the Egypt Cup champion Pyramids, and the League Cup champion Ceramica Cleopatra, in addition to Zamalek invited with the golden card.
According to Amer Hussein, the league champion will face the League Cup champion, and the Cup champion will face the invitee with the golden card.
Thus, Al-Ahly will play Ceramica Cleopatra in the semi-finals, while the other semi-final will be between Zamalek and Pyramids in a match that will be highly anticipated.
It is worth noting that the Egyptian Super Cup will be held from October 17 to 21 in the Emirates.
