All indications indicate that Cristiano Ronaldo will renew his contract with Al-Nassr sooner or later, in light of the great desire of both parties for the Don to continue within the global castle.
Ronaldo’s current contract with Al-Nassr extends until the summer of 2025, and negotiations are ongoing between the two parties to renew the contract for another year, even though the Don will then be over 40 years old.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Ronaldo is not in a rush to sign new contracts with Al-Nassr, and the negotiations are currently still in the early stages.
Clearly, Ronaldo assured Al-Nassr management that he will not leave the team, and that he feels comfortable with the Saudi club and wants to achieve championships next season.
In light of the state of reassurance between the two parties, the 39-year-old’s contract will most likely not be renewed until the end of this year, so he will remain in the Saudi League until the summer of 2026.
Ronaldo’s plan is currently going well, as he wants to continue on the field until he plays in the 2026 World Cup, after which he will retire from football.
It is noteworthy that Al-Nassr officials promised Ronaldo an increase in his salary of 200 million euros annually when he renewed the contract, in addition to his work as an ambassador for the 2034 World Cup.
