The Daily Mail reported that there is a big deal approaching the Saudi League, specifically from Al-Ittihad Club, next summer.
The “Jeddah Tigers” are looking for a new goalkeeper after the dismissal of Marcelo Grohe at the beginning of the past season and the failure of Abdullah Al-Mayouf to provide the expected performance so far.
According to the latest report, the Al-Ittihad management is ready to make a big offer to obtain the signature of historic Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.
The goalkeeper joined City from Benfica in 2017 for 40 million euros. His contract with the English club expires in 2026, but there is openness on both sides to the idea of his departure next summer.
Al-Ittihad is preparing a sum that will not be rejected by City, which is 25 million pounds sterling, or approximately 30 million euros, in order to sign Ederson, who is said to now not mind leaving the Etihad Stadium.
However, the report pointed out that Al-Ittihad is not the only club interested in including Ederson, as Al-Nasr is also looking for a goalkeeper to succeed David Ospina, whose contract expires next summer.
