With $32 million.. Al Hilal signs the most expensive Saudi player in history!

Al Hilal announced on Sunday morning that it had reached an agreement with the Al Shabab management to sign left-back Mutab Al Harbi.

Al Nassr had also reached an agreement with the Al Shabab management to sign the player, who in turn did not object to moving to Al Hilal or Al Nassr, provided that his club’s financial demands were met.

It was said that Al Nassr had already clinched the deal in its favor, but Al Hilal intervened in the early hours of Sunday morning and changed the matter by 180 degrees.

According to Saudi media, Al Nassr’s offer was worth 93 million Saudi riyals, and it was accepted by the Al Shabab management.

But Al Hilal made a final attempt this morning, after sending an unbelievable offer worth 123 million riyals, equivalent to 32 million dollars, in addition to loaning Musab Al Juwair, with which it clinched the deal for itself.

Al Hilal’s official account mocked Al Nassr after the success of signing Al Harbi, and wrote “Sleep.. Wake up, Al Hilali.”

Al-Nassr club issued an official statement after that expressing its regret for the way the Al-Shabab management tied and how it broke the agreement between the two parties and returned and requested a larger amount to sell Al-Harbi, and then agreed with Al-Hilal on the deal.

It is worth noting that Al-Harbi has become the most expensive Saudi player in history, and his joining Al-Hilal means the departure of Renan Lodi, and with it the “Blue Wave” will be able to register Joao Cancelo.
