Toni Kroos mocked himself when commenting on Cristiano Ronaldo’s historic achievement of scoring 900 goals in his career.
Ronaldo scored a goal with Portugal against Croatia, which made him reach 900 goals, and he began celebrating, including a post on his social media accounts.
Kroos responded to Ronaldo’s post by saying, “I won’t even reach 900 if I add up the goals I scored in matches and training.”
Kroos has a close relationship with Ronaldo, and on every occasion the German has stressed that “Don” is one of the best players in history, and that he is the best player he has played with throughout his career.
Perhaps the thing that Kroos competes with Ronaldo in is the number of championships, although the advantage also remains with the 39-year-old.
It is worth noting that Kroos retired from football at the end of Euro 2024 at the age of 34, despite all of Real Madrid’s attempts to renew his contract for another year.
