With two penalties.. Salah enters the history of the Premier League from a new gate

Mohamed Salah continued his brilliance with Liverpool, and scored two goals from two penalty kicks in the Reds’ 3-1 victory over Southampton in the 28th round of the English Premier League.

The Egyptian international reached his 27th goal in the Premier League this season, and his 32nd goal overall in all competitions.

The total contributions of the “Egyptian King” reached 54 goals in all competitions, scoring 32 goals and creating 22 others.

Salah, 31, entered the history of the Premier League from its widest doors, as he tied with Thierry Henry and Erling Haaland as the player who scored and created the most goals in a single season with 4 goals, and the door is open for him to break the duo’s record in the remaining 10 matches.

Meanwhile, Salah surpassed Luis Suarez’s record for most goals scored and assisted in a single season with 44 goals, noting that the Uruguayan’s previous record was 43 goals in the 2013-14 season.
