Barcelona star Lamine Yamal expressed his happiness with the Catalan club’s 4-0 win in El Clasico, and the historic goal he scored against Real Madrid on Saturday.
In an interview after the match, Yamal was asked about the goal that came with his right foot, to which he replied, “I think the Real Madrid players did not know that I have a right foot, so when I needed it today I had to use it.”
He also added, “We believe that we have the best team in the world.”
He continued in this regard by saying, “They said that we only win against ordinary teams, now we win 4-0 against Real Madrid and in their stadium, we have proven that we are capable of winning against any competitor.”
He concluded, “Now I want to say: Long live Barcelona! Let’s continue what we are doing and win La Liga this season.”
It is worth noting that with the goal he scored against Real Madrid, Yamal became the youngest player ever to score a goal in El Clasico at the age of only 17 years and 106 days.
