With the new season underway, questions abound about how to play Fanzword fantasy football, how to accumulate points, how they are calculated, and how they translate into winning our monthly and seasonal prizes.
In the following lines, you will find your complete guide to everything related to English Premier League fantasy on Fanzword, and how to win prizes, points, and more details.
How to Play Fanzword Fantasy Football?
- First, click on the “Fantasy” word at the bottom of the app.
- Then select “Create a team” and name your team.
Choose Your Team
- You have a budget of £100 million to buy 15 players.
- You will buy two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders, and three forwards.
- You can buy a maximum of three players from each club.
- Before each round, you will select your starting lineup, which includes 11 players, a captain, and a vice-captain.
How Points Are Calculated?
- You earn points for your players’ goals, assists, saves, clean sheets, and more.
- Points are only calculated for the starting lineup, meaning if you choose a player who is on the bench and gets points, they won’t be added to your score.
- However, if one of your starting players doesn’t participate in the round’s match, the first player on the bench will have their points added to your score immediately.
- If more than one player is absent, substitutes are chosen according to the order you set.
- Your team captain earns double the number of points they achieve in the round.
- If the captain does not play, the vice-captain earns double the number of points they achieve in the round.
