Zamalek succeeded in winning the 2024 African Confederation Cup title after defeating RS Berkane with an unanswered goal in the second leg of the final match.
Zamalek lost in Morocco 2-1, but Ahmed Hamdy’s goal in the 22nd minute gave the White Knight the title after a very exciting match.

This is Zamalek’s second title at the Confederation level, after the first title they achieved in 2019, which was also at the expense of RS Berkane.
But this time the title comes from Cairo International Stadium, which was covered in white with 60,000 spectators who did not stop supporting the White Knight throughout 90 minutes.
Thus, Zamalek will wait for the winning team from the Al-Ahly and Esperance match in the African Champions League final to face it next August in the African Super Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia.
