Zamalek SC has entered into crucial negotiations with its star player, Ahmed Sayed “Zizo”, to renew his contract which expires in the summer of 2025.
According to Egyptian media, the club’s management has presented a lucrative offer to the player, with an annual salary of 40 million Egyptian pounds.
This move by Zamalek comes amid the club’s desire to retain one of its most important players, especially in light of the immense pressure from fans for the club’s star player to stay.
On the other hand, Zizo has a tempting offer from the Saudi club, Neom, with an annual offer worth 170 million Egyptian pounds, which poses a significant challenge to Zamalek’s management.
Zizo’s father had previously announced that his son wished to renew with Zamalek, but the renewal of Neom’s huge offer could change the player’s calculations.
