Zamalek Settles Zizo and Bencharki Situations

Zamalek has ended the ongoing speculation surrounding the future of Ahmed Sayed “Zizo” after agreeing with him to stay and renew his contract with the White Castle.

The Egyptian star had received a significant offer from Saudi Arabia’s NEOM and Qatar’s Al-Arabi and was close to leaving, but a meeting between the player and his father with Zamalek’s management on Monday turned things around.

According to Egyptian media, Zizo has agreed with Zamalek to renew his contract, which ends at the end of the current season, after both parties agreed on the financial terms.

At the same time, there is another piece of good news for Zamalek, as reports have revealed that an agreement has been reached with Moroccan Achraf Bencharki to return to “Met Okba”.

Zamalek is currently seeking to finalize the agreement with Bencharki before the end of the current week so that he can be included in the African list, with the registration deadline set for the beginning of September.

The Egyptian club has agreed with Bencharki on the basic details, and only the agreement on bonuses and variables remains to finalize the deal.

It is worth noting that Bencharki played for Zamalek from 2019 to 2022, then moved to Al-Jazira in the UAE and from there to Al-Rayyan in Qatar, where his contract ended at the end of last season.
