Zamalek’s marathon victory over Ceramica Cleopatra, 2-1, in the 2025 Egypt Cup semi-finals, secured their place in the final of their favorite competition.
The score was tied 1-1, before Ahmed Sayed Zizo came off the bench to secure the White Knights’ ticket to the final at Cairo International Stadium.
At the Air Defense Stadium, defending champions Pyramids FC had no difficulty reaching the final after a 4-0 victory over Al-Bank Al-Ahly.
Zamalek will meet Pyramids FC again in the Cup final, having first met them in 2019 at Borg El Arab Stadium, where the White Castle won 3-0.

The Egyptian Football Association has not yet announced the exact date of the Zamalek vs. Pyramids match, but previously revealed that it will be held in mid-April at Cairo International Stadium.
The winner of the Cup final will receive one and a half million Egyptian pounds, while the runner-up will receive one million pounds.
It is worth noting that Zamalek has won the Egypt Cup 28 times, second only to Al-Ahly (39 titles), while Pyramids won the title once, in last year’s edition.
